4. How LILA Data Is Processed
LILA conversations are processed through OpenAI’s API for response generation.
LILA primarily operates using controlled Label to Label K.K. knowledge and authorized public-facing business materials.
In limited circumstances, LILA may also use governed external grounding to improve factual accuracy in time-sensitive or public-context topics. Where such functionality is used, relevant request content may be processed through the service chain necessary to retrieve, validate, and structure that information under Label to Label K.K.’s controls.
Label to Label K.K. remains responsible for the service design, knowledge governance, scope controls, and business orchestration of LILA.
5. Session Continuity and Identification
Public LILA sessions generally operate through randomly generated session IDs.
These session IDs are used to maintain temporary conversation continuity and are not intended to identify a user personally.
If you voluntarily provide personal data in a conversation, that information may be processed in connection with the session, but LILA is not designed as a persistent personal profile service for public users.
Because public session data is generally not tied to a verified individual account, Label to Label K.K. may be unable to retrieve or isolate a specific session upon request.
6. Data Storage, Retention, and Deletion
a. Storage
Label to Label K.K. uses trusted service providers and infrastructure to operate its services, including hosting, storage, analytics, and AI processing.
Current storage and service infrastructure may include:
- Google Firebase for hosting and/or database functions
- OpenAI API services for AI response processing
- Google Analytics for website usage analytics
- other operational providers reasonably required to run the website and services
b. Retention
LILA session data is stored temporarily by Label to Label K.K. and deleted in bulk within the first week of each new month.
Aggregated and anonymized insights derived from conversations may be retained longer for internal service improvement, business analysis, and demonstration of capability, provided they are not linked to identifiable individuals.
Website analytics, member account data, business inquiry records, and contract-related data may be retained longer where necessary for legitimate business operations, legal compliance, security, recordkeeping, or contractual purposes.
c. OpenAI Retention
OpenAI may retain API data temporarily for abuse and misuse monitoring in accordance with its applicable API retention practices. OpenAI does not use API data submitted by Label to Label K.K. for model training.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:
- improve site functionality

A cookie notice or consent mechanism may be shown where required.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain site features or performance.
8. Aggregated and Anonymized Data
Conversation data and service usage may be analyzed and transformed into aggregated, anonymized insights.
These insights may be used internally to:
- improve LILA
- understand service usage patterns
- review operational quality
- demonstrate business capability at a non-identifiable level
Aggregated insights are not intended to identify individual users.
9. Third-Party Processors and Services
We may use trusted third-party processors and service providers to operate our services, including:
- OpenAI for AI response generation
- Google Firebase for hosting and/or data storage

Where required, we apply appropriate legal, contractual, and operational safeguards for international data transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
11. Legal Bases for Processing
Where GDPR applies, our legal bases may include:
- consent
- legitimate interests
- performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps

Where APPI or other data protection laws apply, we process personal information in accordance with the requirements of those laws.

Please note that where LILA session data is not linked to a verified personal identity, we may not be able to identify, retrieve, correct, or delete a specific session.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect stored data against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
However, no system can guarantee absolute security, and users should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information through public AI chat environments.
